Last year we got a Nike Dunk Low “Caco Wow” in what ended up being a more outrageous take on the low-cut silhouette for 1985. This year’s “Sail Cacao Wow” still has the earth tones but in more of a standard color blocking. Here’s the rundown on the forthcoming sneaker.

The upcoming Nike Dunk Low “Sail Cacao Wow” has an upper complete of leather. The base comes in a smooth leather sail finish . At the same time, smooth leather overlay panels, including heel, mudguard, ankle, and swooshes, are finished in Cacao Wow brown.

The mesh tongue matches the base color and sports brown Nike tongue tags at the top. Nike branding in sail rounds out the heel tab on the back. Other details include brown sock liners and flat laces. At the same time, a coconut milk midsole gives the sneaker an aged look. A typical Nike Dunk rubber outsole completes the look in brown.

  • 10 Special Box Pairs of ebay X Nike SB Dunk Low Releaseing via Auction

Back in 2003, Nike SB used eBay to auction off a customized pair of Dunk Lows that were painted to match the site’s emblem. Proceeds went to Tim Braunch Foundation, a skater who died at an early age, as well as the Portland area’s new skate parks would be built with part of the sale’s revenue, which totaled $26,000 at the listing’s final Bid. Although just one pair of the shoes above were sold, the other pairs were cut up to see to it that there was only One pair available to the winner of the auction. It has long been rumored there are a couple of pairs still around, One of which was sawed into four distinct pieces. The other was given as a retirement gift to Sandy Bodecker.

Nike SB is physically putting the pieces of the Dunk Low back together in tribute to the life of the late Sandy Bodecker, who was responsible for creating Nike SB and making it what it is today. Nike has chosen to fill in the gaps with a see through TPU material, rather than fusing said parts together flawlessly.

The remainder of the design adheres to the original color scheme, using eBay’s distinguishing red, blue, yellow, and green tones. The left foot also has a print of Bodecker and his child on the insole, while the right has a print of the original, disassembled eBay Dunk.

UPDATE 12.7.22: Today December 7th, eBay has started an auction and features 10 special box pairs. The box includes the new eBay x Nike SB Dumk Low Sandy Bodecker” that’s set to release later this month. The other is a tribute pair with the right sneaker cut into 4 pieces and the left is a regular eBay dunk like the original. Also in the box is a hand saw with eBay colors on the blade. This is to commemorate the original 2003 auction. All proceeds will go to Bodecker Creative Foundation.

The auction has started and will be live for 7 days. Skate shops are set to release the new eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low “Sandy Bodecker” on December 15th and a SNKRS App drop will be on December 17th. You can see the auction via this Link. • A Detailed Look At The Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low Orange Lobster

The Nike SB Lobster has long been a favorite amongst sneakerheads, it just so happens that some of the rarest Nike SB’s, came from the Concepts collection. Their collaboration started back in 2008, with many other projects along the way. Concepts and Nike SB will be releasing another lobster inspired SB Dunk Low. The newest colorway takes inspiration from the rare Orange Lobster, thus bringing us the upcoming Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low Orange Lobster. This shoe was first seen when Concepts creative director Deon Point was spotted at a Celtics game wearing the upcoming orange SB, and the internet went crazy.

This colorway while referencing one of the rarest lobsters, is a mix of the red & yellow Lobster colorways that’s previously released. Coming in a mix of red orange overlays paired with burnt orange underlays break up the color blocking perfectly. Other details include signature plaid pattern on the sockliner, orange swoosh outlined in white, These come with white laces in the shoe strait out the box, with 2 extra sets in teal and orange.

The midsole comes in a jet black finish with orange stitching. The insole is equipped with Zoom cushioning that we are use to seeing on SB’s. Early looks have shown black elastic bands wrapped around the forefoot similar to how lobster claws are actually secured. New images have recently surfaced via Concepts brand Director Anne Morgan showing us grey elastic bands. This is likely how the Friends and Family pairs will come along with special packaging.

  • A Detailed Look: Yeezy 350 V2 Light Cinder Due In 2023

Once slated for a January release, we have the best look yet at the Yeezy 350 V2 Light Cinder. Coming in light grey, this tonal colorway is reminiscent of the 2020 Tail Light release. These feature the same style of upper seen on the Zyon 350 V2.

The newer static design weaved in the Primeknit consists of a smooth area middle ways on the lateral and medial sides. Although, those designs in the uppers do not stand out in the re-engineered Primeknit since this is a tonal colorway. The fan-favorite pull tab is back for this colorway, an attribute that received little complaints in the past.

The monofilament stripe, a few shades darker than the upper, isn’t as translucent as we’ve seen on 350’s in the past. The stripe and pull tab breaks up the monochromatic look while adding to the aesthetic. Conventional round laces finish off the upper, matching the rest of the sneaker.

When Does The Yeezy 350 V2 Light Cinder Release?

The upper is fixed to their signature ribbed TPU midsole and rubber outsole. Both come in a darker shade of grey than the upper. Full length drop-in Boost™ technology makes this one of the most comfortable sneakers ever. Other details include grey round laces, defined center stitching, and made from sustainable and recycled materials as part of Adidas’ End Plastic Waste Program.

    Release; Early 2023

Unfortunately, there is no exact date on when they will or won’t drop. Production started in October; therefore, what’s already in warehouses and early pairs have the YEEZY branding on insoles. So that has to be figured out, but expect to see these to hit shelves in 1st Quarter 2023 along with other models and colorways as production in China has never stopped.

  • A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 4 “Violet Ore” Launching Soon

This year, A Ma Maniére continues its outstanding Jordan Brand collaboration series with an Air Jordan 4. It has been revealed that this new colorway will debut this November. The 4 is another Air Jordan Retro, which has been added to the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 4 collaboration catalog with Jordan Brand. That catalog already consists of the Air Jordan 1, 2, and 3.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro has recently started to climb to the number 1 spot when it comes to coveted Jordan’s. This spot has long been held by the Air Jordan 1, but releasing questionable colorways as of late, consumers have already started showing less interest in the model.

Each tab features a quote on the inside, with the right sneaker saying “It’s not about the shoes” and includes MJ’s signature, while “It’s about where you’re going” is written on the other tab. The tongue tag features co-branding, and a premium quilted lining makes up the back of tongue, paired with the sock-liner and insoles, adding to the premium aesthetic. Other elements of the sneaker include a unique hangtag bearing the store’s name and Jumpma, included with a small rivet boasting their signature A used in all A Ma Maniére branding. Tonal flat laces, and a midsole made of Sail and Black, put together with an outsole in a mix of violet and aged sail.

  • adidas adiFOM Q Gets 4 New Colorways

The adiFOM Q has became one of the most controversial sneakers for the three-stripes brand since first images leaked a few months back. While they claim these were inspired from a 2001 adidas Quake sneaker, Ye and the Yeezy community don’t see it that way.

Whether or not making a foam sneaker was trying to intentionally copy the YEEZY Foam Rnr. It looks like adidas’ new foam sneaker is gearing up for a multiple colorway drop. The adiFOM Q is a different take on the foam trend, featuring a foam outer shell and midsole. They each come with an inner bootie system, laces, and a more sneaker like outsole. Making them an actual sneaker instead of a clog, like most foam footwear is modeled after.

Reviews on the first pair have seem to be good for the most part. This is something new for the brand considering in recent years they have been known to model every sneaker after the Ultra Boost. The upcoming colors are Core Black/Carbon, Wonder White/ Carbon, Footwear White/ Grey one, and Grey Four/ Grey 3. If this model is for you, after getting multiple pairs you could even interchange the inner parts to make more colorway combinations.

If your for the adidas adiFOM Q or against them, it doesn’t look like they are going away any time soon. Look for these to launch in the coming week as they have already dropped in some countries. Make sure to follow or social medias to stay up to date on sneaker drops. See official images below.

  • Adidas is Dropping a New 500 colorway

This Yeezy 500, while being multi-colored, it is far from some of the louder colors like Sumac or Enflame. They are reconstructed with an upper composed of suede, premium leather, and mesh with nubuck accents. The tone is a light tan with a faded yellow tint on this colorway. The mesh underlays are also tan but omit yellow.

The mudguard sits above the midsole on the lateral side, providing support and scuff resistance while adding definition to the sneaker’s design. The 3M reflective piping around the mudguard and the place eyelets offer visibility in the dark.

The 500 silhouette rides on an adiPRENE+ midsole in a tan finish. Even though the 500 doesn’t use BOOST™, this is still one of the most comfortable sneakers from the made from the Yeezy brand. Comfort is due to the mix of premium materials for the upper along with the adiPRENE+ cushioning, which still gives a lot of response. A tan rubber outsole provides traction and stability, closing out the sneaker. Other details include oval laces and Ortholite insole.

When does adidas plan to drop the new 500?

Look for these to launch in early 2023 from adidas on Confirmed and select retailers globally. No official images have loaded at this time. One thing to note is some early pairs do say Yeezy on the tag and insoles since they were previously produced before the split, so they will likely be changed on the pairs still in warehouses thaysnwill be sold in 2023. The boxes will have to be changed as well.
